Frequently Asked Questions About Reselling How often are the reseller commissions paid out? If we handle the renewal billing for you, we pay the commissions owing for that month, at the end of the month. So all renewals received during the month are paid at the end of the month they were received. This only applies if WE handle the renwal billing for you. If you handle the billing for your customers (and those who you sold subscriptions to are your customers) then we don't pay you anything - you actually need to send us the remainder after you have taken your $50.00 reseller's commission out of the subscription fee. How do you pay the commissions? The commissions are paid by PayPal. If you prefer to receive checks, please let us know and we can send you a check. But these only apply if we process the renewals instead of you. Do you supply all the marketing materials or do I have to make my own? You get Master Copies of some material as well as a small marketing manual with further ideas and instructions. You have to pay to run ads and make copies of any marketing materials we send you. And as already mentioned, if you do want to use your own methods, please show us the marketing piece first so we can give it the okay. Think of selling subscriptions as your own business where someone else supplies the product, and you will have an accurate image of how it works. This form of business is known as Drop Shipping. What is Drop Shipping? Before the days of the internet, Drop Shipping enabled merchants across the country to sell goods without having to worry about stock handling, warehouse space, and everything else normally associated with retailing. They would sell the product - using material supplied by the business whose product they were selling, or using material they created on their own and which was approved by the business - collect the payment, keep their commission, and send the rest to the business. The business then supplied the product to the customer. It alllowed people to make sales without having to invest in large amounts of stock, and allowed the supplying business to expand without putting on staff. Those who wanted to make a lot of money worked harder while those who only wanted a little extra money to make themselves more comfortable worked less hard. It is a true win/win/win situation - the business wins by having an increased salesforce, the reseller wins by not having to worry about creating products and shipping them, and the customer wins by having access to products they otherwise wouldn't have.
