Another useful desktop search tip...

Google has come out with a new desktop search application. You can download it for free from here...

(You need to have Windows XP or the Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 operating system to run Google desktop search. That means it probably won't run on older computers.)
I haven't used it yet - but my brother uses it and tells me it is so much easier now to find what he's looking for on his computer!
(The reason why I haven't used it yet is my main computer runs Windows 2000 - but I haven't downloaded Service Pack 3. I do have Windows XP on my laptop computer, so I'll probably download it there to try it out!)
However, I think this Google desktop search doesn't support searching through PDF documents yet - but I think that's planned for the future.
