Kim D,

Thanks for posting.

What an excellent market!

Another group which is heavily involved in this market are what we call TPI (Totally and Permanently Incapacitated). Those who are members of the TPI would go for this, so the TPI could let their members know.

I'd considered this, to add it to the idea, though left it out because I wasn't too sure how many books could fit in a van.

Books do not take up much space for their weight. And 30 or so milk crates full of books would pretty well take care of the van's load limit. And yet those same crates would only cover the floor of the van and be on one level.

Of course, this could be gotten around with a limited selection of books. Or a larger selection all of one genre (all Mills and Boon, for example)

I think the mobile aspect is a great addition. People might not know what a book is based on its name. But by being there, there is interaction and involvement. And they may take more books. Books they may have passed on due to the name but which they take because of the cover.

Yes. And it could possibly go into business too. Hire a year's worth of Dan Kennedy newsletters for a week. This week hire Personal Power I and next week get Personal Power II.

It would be a great way to get high-priced seminar tapes into the hands of those who feel $2,000++ is too much to pay for video/dvds. But who would have them for a week for one or two hundred bucks.

There is the possibility of running it all by mail. But the mailing cost of the books could make it too cost prohibitive.
